Get Rid Of Stretch Marks Fast and Naturally

One of the problems that most of the women counter with are stretch marks. Stretch marks are the off-coloured stripes or streaks formed on the skin as a result of swift stretching of skin or weight changes. They are formed due to hormonal changes related to pregnancy, puberty, hormone replacement therapy, etc. They can commonly see on waist, thighs, lower backs, hips, breasts, arms, and buttocks.




What causes Stretch Marks

  • The physical stretching of the skin during pregnancy.

Stretch marks are not a disease which infects the human body, but it is something that we should really care about,because when they are not treated on time, they get older and difficult to remove.
You can simply follow these remedies to get rid of stretch marks.




Cocoa Butter

Cocoa butter is famous for its anti-wrinkling and anti-aging properties. It helps in enhancing the blood circulation,which reduces stretch marks.
Simply massage cocoa butter into the affected area every night before bed. The massaging will help blood circulate and break up fat deposits, while the cocoa butter acts as an eraser.

You can also mix half 4 tablespoons of cocoa butter with one tablespoon of wheat germ oil, one teaspoon of tea kernel oil, two teaspoons of grated beeswax, and vitamin E oil. Heat the mix until the beeswax melts.Apply it on the stretch marks twice or thrice a day. The mixture can be stored in a sealed box in the refrigerator.





Coconut Oil

Coconut oil  has multiple benefits when applied to the skin. Not only is it highly moisturizing, due to its oily composition and high vitamin E content. It can also help  the skin repair itself. It acts as an antibacterial that will help boost the immune system and fight against harmful bacterias.Since it is already an all-natural ingredient , using the oil from coconut  will be safe  even for delicate skin. Using coconut oil for stretch marks helps with the healing process and also helps to reduce the appearance of stretch marks.

The reason why coconut is so helpful is because it contains Vitamin E that will effectively work to restore the skin back to normal; It also contains proteins and saturated fats that will be easily absorbed into the skin avoiding the development of stretch marks.
To use coconut oil to treat stretch marks you just need to get a teaspoon of coconut oil, and using a cotton ball, repeatedly apply the oil to the affected area. Rub it in well and massage the skin to allow the oil to be absorbed completely into the skin.. You can leave it on for 30 minutes or just sleep with it and rinse it in the morning.




Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera is considered to be the  most effective remedy for stretch marks and various other skin problems. It is known for its healing and smoothing properties. These properties can help you getting rid of stretch marks. Here are some reasons why aloe Vera is an excellent ally to eliminate stretch marks:

  • It contains a lot of water and other nutrients which helps in sustenance of skin tissues.
  • It has the capability of penetrating deep into the skin, nourishes and repairs it from damage that is caused by stretch marks.
  • It contains anti-oxidants that will help to repair the damaged skin cells and enhance regeneration of new skin cells to remove the stretch marks.
  • It has anti-septic properties that not only clears the stretch marks, but also helps to heal rashes, cuts and burns.
  • Aloe Vera has  two different types of hormones, viz Auxins and Gbberellins which exhibits anti-inflammatory properties and growth  hormones that stimulate the replenishment of healthy skin cells. These hormones also help to maintain a natural production of collagen by the body. This collagen is proven to increase the skin's elasticity, lessen the stretch marks appearance and boost firmness of the skin.
Apply aloe Vera directly on the stretch marks. Clean it with lukewarm water after 30 minutes.

Alternatively, take a one-fourth cup of aloe Vera gel. Extract oil from 5 vitamin A capsules and 10 vitamin E capsules. Mix both the oils with aloe vera. Rub this mixture carefully on the affected area until it gets fully absorbed. Repeat this procedure daily for better results.




Potatoes 

Potatoes contain vitamins, minerals, starch and skin-lightening enzymes which help to speed up the production of new skin cells. Not only do potatoes work as an effective skin healing treatment, but it also works as an effective anti-aging treatment and skin lightener. Potato contains starch, a product with emollient properties that soothes the skin.


The presence of anti-oxidants in potatoes helps remove stretch marks. Potato is also a great source of vitamin C, potassium, thiamine, riboflavin, folate, magnesium, phosphorus, iron and zinc.  It is really easy to use potatoes to get rid of stretch marks.
Crush one whole potato  and extract the juice. Use the juice and a slice of potato to apply on the affected area of the skin. Apply the potato juice or a slice of potato on the skin. Leave it on for 15 minutes, then rinse the skin with lukewarm water.





Lemon Juice


Lemon Juice is rich in citric acid, and is also  other easy treatment for stretch marks. The acid present in lemon Juice helps  reducing stretch marks. acne, skin injuries, and scars. Take out juice from some lemons. Massage it gently for 15 minutes in a circular motion on the stretch marks.Clean the affected area with warm water.
You can also put 2 drops of glycerine in lemon. Rub the lemon on the affected area gently. Repeat the process twice a day.It will not only reduce the stretch marks, but will also  keep your skin moisturized.


There is also an alternative way to get rid of stretch marks using lemon : Take a tablespoon of sugar ( sugar it is used as a natural exfoliator for skin, and it is one of the best home remedy to get rid of the ugly stretchmarks). Add some drops of almond oil and lemon juice.Stir it well and apply directly on the stretch marks. Rub it for 8-10 minutes and then, take a shower. Continue to use it for one month or so, until the stretch marks get fade out.





Castor Oil

Castor Oil is considered to be a healing treatment for skin problems, like moles, dark spots, wrinkles, pimples and  fine lines.
You can apply Castor Oil directly on the stretch marks. Massage it in a circular motion for 15 minutes. After massaging, wrap the affected area with thin and clean cotton cloth.Now apply some heat with the help of heating pad or hot water bottle.Continue the process for 30 minutes daily for one month to get the best results.

You can also combine this oil with olive oil. Olive oil is rich in antioxidants and nutrients, which are effective for skin disorders. For healing stretch marks.So what you need to do is warm the olive oil slightly. Rub it gently on the affected area.With this procedure, the blood circulation will improve and stretch marks will get reduced.
You can also prepare a mixture of vitamin- rich oils by mixing one tablespoon of almond oil, one teaspoon of lavender oil, and chamomile oil each, and one tablespoon of Castor Oil. Stir the mixture well and apply it on the stretch marks.




Alfalfa

Alfalfa is an excellent ally if you are trying to get rid of stretch marks.It is rich in vitamin E , K, and amino acids. Vitamin E will help to neutralize the oxidant effects of the skin radicals that damage collagen which is the main reason of wrinkles, fine lines and skin dryness. Vitamin E reduces the chain reaction of the free radicals.

The vitamin K will regulate the process of blood clotting and bone mineralization.It also plays a key role in maintaining bone density and reduces the risk of cardiovascular disease. Amino acids help to nourish the skin, hair and nails.
In a bowl mix 1 teaspoon of alfalfa with 4 drops of chamomile oil, mix it well for 5 minutes. Apply it to the affected area on your skin and leave it on for 15 minutes, and then wash it off with water.




Egg Whites

Eggs whites are very effective when it comes to getting rid of stretch marks. They are rich in proteins and amino acid.Extract whites of two eggs. Whip it with the help of a fork.After washing the affected area with clean water, Apply a thick layer of egg whites with the help of a brush.Let it dry completely and wash it off with cold water. After this , apply some olive oil to moisturize the skin.Repeat this procedure daily for two weeks  and you will start seeing results.

The most effective way to get rid or avoid future stretch marks is to keep your skin moisturized. In case you are facing itchy stretch marks, take a warm shower followed by a oil massage everyday..Do yoga and other physical exercises on the regular basis . And don't ignore the influence on your diet : consume protein, zinc, and Vitamin C,Green salad, milk, fish, nuts ans citrus fruit help a lot in diminishing stretch marks. And the most important tip: Drink a lot of water.
